I read the reviews and was very skeptical. However, I am happy with the game and we highly recommend it. br / br / I go into every game with no preconceived idea of what I think should be. Other guests complaining about this … Stalker Fallout that … what a crock. Each consignment must be on it's own and this one does. Certainly not perfect. I played a couple I thought were so easy to set the bar high. However, this is a very addictive game.The graphics are impressive. I also believe that if you use an old Atari might have problems running it. I'm having no problem playing three years on a dual core 2.3GHz with 4GB of memory and a GTX280 card. I Have The game set a step below the maximum allowed settings on at 28 ", 1920×1200 monitor. The graphics are quite simply this, very engaging and extremely well made. Truly feel like you're in subways.br / br / Next, complaints that are both linear and boring. Somepeople like that style of play. Crysis is probably one of the best games ever made. However, it is very straightforward. Pesonally, I will not ever play with a bunch of side missions that add little to the story, if only to make the game longer. Borderlands, Fallout3, Stalker, and games like Oblivion bored me to death because of this, while others love that style of play. To each their say.br I / br / Finally, everyone likes different things. When I was younger I like games with greatinventories, the need to sleep to heal, collecting stuff, construction levels and so on. However, as I got older I just want to play a great game. The simple FPS where you arm and going to work kind of games are my choice now. I do not want to spend a week creating my charater buidling up or beyond the level of thinking what gun … What ammunition, take the research side, save the princess, where I am on the map … I just want to play. FEAR, Crysis, COD4, FarCry, Half-Life, Bioshock to namesome are just like Metro. Your character is determined, your destination is linear, and there are lots and lots of choices, but it is exciting and fun with just the right mix to keep the game moving. br / br / So if you are looking for a game that is fun, looks great, and worth buying … Metro 2033 is a pretty good choice.
