Cheap Scosche FM-MOD02 FM Modulator for iPod, Satellite Radio or Portable Music Player Discount Review Shop
I am using this with my GM "Monsoon sound" radio and Zune 30GB for about 5 months. Originally, I had this setup with only one headphone jack coming out of the dashboard, but this severely limits the reception of AM stations (700 WLW was nice, but 550 KRC was impossible to take in some garage or near power lines). Other FM stations are fine, so this is more indicative of the quality of construction and problems of interference with the actual performance modulator. In fact, some other modulesbarge fully in all the other FM and AM stations, so this is not really a problem.br / br / So I glued the little switch and deal jack in the car to turn the modulator on and off, which is where I met the first real problem with this device: the switch is illuminated SEARINGLY green light which is very annoying during the night (I rarely drive during the day, unfortunately). This problem is easily correctable with a piece of black tape. If you take some care while cutting the ribbon, you canDo not cover the edges of the rocker so it will still work as a indicator.br / br / In general, this device is very easy to install and use, you may need to take an antenna jack adapter. Other than that, this kit includes everything you need for a quick and easy installation. Connect it to power your radio so you do not kill the battery, and you do not know which end of the welder to use a professional set in.br / br / In addition, some other people have complained of distortion, andThe solution is simple: turn the music player device volume down, and the volume of your radio's up. If you complain that the radio does not go loud enough, you're probably better to get a cheap (200 dollars), aftermarket radio that has an auxiliary input on the front panel.br / br / edit: br / inspired to write this review I removed the tape and looked again the black light. I would not say that it is odious light during the day, although certainly distraction during the night. A better solutiontape would be to weld in a current-limiting resistor (a simple solution, but I do not want to disassemble my new dashboard)

GREAT ITEM! just a bit of work after installing it… – Joshua Scites –
GREAT VOICE! just a little 'work after installing … I put in my 1998 Chevy Lumina. With a little 'knowledge to install head unit (receiver car), I still had to do some research. I cut some wires and the FM modulator WORKS! Every car is different. br / br / one thing: How the FM modulator for about an hour, I have to change the radio station. For example, I have the Box set to 88.3 FM modulator and do not change this setting. I set my radio to 88.3 and one now passes … Ibegin to lose the station and the music on my iPod Touch is not clear. Then I had to change the station 88.1 to hear. Another hour passes … I then tune in to 87.9 and after that my station is beautiful. I turn the car off and the process begins again. br / br / overall: I love this product! Believe that for a cheap price its worth the buy.br /
