I installed thr backup camera in a cab 2001 Ford Ranger Super bass boat with a trailer hitch on. I put the transmitter inside the bed, behind the tail light housing in a protected area, and tie wrapped up in bed brace. The installation was staight forward without surprises.I mounted the monitor in the center of the floor and permanatley wired the harness for the fuse panel. I am very pleased with the performance, including cost. Have purchased items from br / Amazon and give prioritythem an A + and UPS delivered the items before the date of arrival. One factor evil, the monitor tries to shed light on accasion.br / I've talked with Ken technical support. The frequency of the receiver is very close to security devices. Ken says that pulling a bank, the monitor have a picture. Should I buy again, yes, it's a very good. Just turn it off when not in use.

After a lot of research and reading reviews I chose this. E 'come before the scheduled time and would be a breeze to install, but I have a Cadillac CTS, with a complete covering the lid of the trunk lid and a double-wall puncture of the half inch and a half I have been following the instructions very careful to make sure I avoided the wiring, but not quite attentive. I am using this camera for a couple of weeks or longer. br / This system consists of three main parts. The LCD screen, the wireless transmitter, and the camera (with extra long cable built-in) Everything you need to configure it is included.br / br / The resolution of the camera looks good as well as the resolution of the LCD. The LCD screen is useful because it has a mono speaker built for use with another video source. The screen is a bit 'difficult to see in the sun / glare, but not too heavybad.br / The thread for the camera is a very good length and connects to the transmitter with a 3-pin connector (not RCA). The transmitter has a 2-pin connector to another to connect the power cord that must be spliced to the reverse light. br / The LCD has two entrances, of which the first wireless transmission, and the second is the video & audio via an included cable. The LCD monitor automatically detects the transmitter when the transmitter starts to transmit. The LCDcan automatically switch the camera to back up the transmitter and will automatically go into power saving mode when no signals are detected (great features!) br / br / br / The biggest problem I saw is that it actually interferes with wireless transmitter other devices that operate wireless. The first two days of use, my wireless network "accidentally" by not opening, it turns out that it was the transmitter of this camera system. I suspect any wireless device at 2.4 GHz (includingBluetooth?) Will be hampered when the transmitter is activated. The wireless transmitter was about 30 feet away and behind the walls, but many still caused interference.br / br / The system is good, but imagine if everyone had the wireless devices that randomly interfere with the 2.4 GHz, no WiFi (and Bluetooth?) It would be reliable.br / br / br / As a side note, I was able to convert the transmitter to include an RCA input so you can use the LCD screen (with an attached 12V battery pack that Iput together and is not included) wirelessly with any video source (without wireless audio though), however, the interference becomes a bigger problem as it is recommended that you use frequently.

Solves the problem of coupling to the trailer, it works like a charm. It is not difficult to install on my 05 Tundra. Transmitter must be truncated I have a fiberglass cover on the bed, so this works well, otherwise, the cables should be cut and legenthened installing the transmitter in the cabin.
