After trying out the wooden snap traps with various bait (peanut butter,almonds,pistachios,popcorn) with no results I decided to bite the bullet and get the Infrared Ultra Zapper. The second night we put it out… ZAP dead rat. The rat seemed to be too smart to even go near the wooden snap traps. I baited the Rat Zapper with pine nuts since it had gotten into our cupboards before and appeared to like them. The problem with pine nuts it they are very small and not easily put on a snap trap (again I think the rat knew to stay away from the snap traps anyway). We literally left trails of other nuts and popcorn out and it didn’t even go near the snap traps. Anyway, this was money well spent.

I’ve used the Rat Zapper Ultra the Rat tails for years… they have worked GREAT for me.. They are so much easier to use then the normal traps and poison…i just got 2 new infrared zappers with rat tails… the Rat Tails let you know when one has gotten in the Zapper… don’t have to keep checking this way. They are well worth the money!!!!
