I bought these to create some interesting effects of lighting in my home office and bedroom. I found them easy to install using the clip provided. (I used my own screws such as those are extremely cheap and not seat properly on any drill bit – appear somewhere near a Phillips 1, but not seat properly and are virtually unusable). All my lights worked just fine out of the box. / Br br / Installations tips: br / br / 1) Get some dimension of quality screws # 10 .5 inches byhardware store. br / 2) Connect the light before installing it. It will heat the plastic and make it much more flexible and easy to work, as you go along. br / 3) You can also use cable ties to mount the lights if you get the variety of transparent plastic. These works, as well or better than the clip for some applications. br / br / These are the rope lights very cheap and look great. Reading the reviews it seems that their quality can be hit-or-miss, but if you get a good set is a very good value.

I saw an article on how to use this to counter the under supplementary lighting. Well the pictures must have been long exposures, because these are not really suitable for illuminating a area.br work / are wonderful for the flickering light in a room though.br / Part of this fails intermittently to stay turned on only when I swung the thing around, so there is some kind of loose connection inside it.br / Over all the products in Nice. Can not blame the product for my unreasonable expectations.

The coil of plastic is too hard to fold properly and produces a yellowish light. E 'decently bright, but not useful for anything but decoration.
