I just ordered these for the first time earlier this month and was very pleased with them, because this is an exceptional value. I paid seventeen and received free shipping. (The price has gone up, but as if it retains control, both the inventory and the price will fluctuate lower / upper on a weekly basis, I noticed.) I have a very old Panasonic DMR-E20 DVD recorder and discs work perfectly. They recorded in all good speed, anywhere from XP (1 hour) until all the EP / SLP speed (6 trackhours). Do not know why this got so many negative reviews. But if you look at the reviews of the brand of disc you'll see that actually have a lower-rated and are more bad reviews so I suppose that only nature of the beast. The disks came packaged very well and also comes with a booklet of basic guarantee Amazon. For a great economic choice I highly recommend getting Amazon's own brand of DVD-R discs, because they are high in quality and very low price.

Wow … br / br / I've thought that other people who gave bad reviews these discs are just over reacting or not they knew what they were talking about.br / br / The guy was wrong! Br / br / These discs are garbage.br / br / None of them will burn. br / br / I've tried 20 different discs in Nero Ultra and a further 10 discs in ImgBurn and not a single one even started to burn. br / br / I have a Media "incompatible" error every time.br / br / Please do not buy these discs! br / br / — / br br / side note: I loveAmazon! Their service and selection are amazing, but their first attempt to blank media is a terrible mistake.

These discs are not recognized in my NEC drive. My Samsung disk write to them, but I have a lot of mistakes when writing and retrieving data. I work with recordable discs a bit 'and I have never seen such poor quality. Have not had these problems with Sony, Verbatim, TDK, Memorex, or any of the other brands I've used. I went back to another brand and the errors are gone. I would never trust this product to store data. Are a total waste of money.

After reading some reviews here I decided to go w / Amazon brand DVD-R. They are less expensive than other popular brands and are expected to believe with any store brand. Anyway, I burned some movies on them and played on my PS3. So far I have not seen all the problems. And I do not anticipate any defects in future either. One thing that is not able to verify the write speed. Some geeks would know how to check it, but do not know if it is really important, because the unit that I have only supports up to 8xand I suppose that is written up to that speed. So if you are looking for a good DVD-R I would definitely recommend this brand.
